You must read these website terms carefully, and we recommend that you print and keep a copy for your future reference. By accessing, browsing, using or registering with the website, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Website Terms in their entirety. If you do not agree to these Website Terms in their entirety, you must not use the website.

1.2 These terms and conditions apply to all sales from us effected through our Website They may be changed at any time and any change will take effect from the time of publication on our Website. Your statutory rights are not affected. 2.4 Delivery charges and timescales vary depending on the type of products ordered, the courier and the delivery address.  You will be contacted via your email address provided to discuss any costs involved in getting the products ordered to your destination.

3. Delivery Schedule

3.1 Items in stock will be dispatched within 3 working days. Orders are sent by Parcelforce / DPD Courier delivery. When you provide an e-mail with your online order, this will enable us to advise when the parcel has been shipped, and to provide the consignment number for you to track your parcel on Parcelforce or DPD’s website. Deliveries will be made on Monday-Friday, items despatched on Friday will be delivered within 3 working days. Please provide a delivery address where somebody will be able to sign for the parcel.

3.2 We use the best couriers possible to deliver your goods on time, we shall not be liable for lost or delayed Parcel deliveries. 

4. Security / Privacy

 4.1 We may collect the following information:

• Contact information including email address

• Demographic information such as postcode, preferences and interests

• Other information relevant to customer surveys and/or offers

4.2 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account and any activities that occur under your account. McCloys shall not be liable to any person for any loss or damage which may arise as a result of any failure by you to protect your password or account.

4.3 When purchasing a Product online your order details will be passed to our secure online payment processing operator, Paypal or SagePay. Your details will be processed using a secure systems that are Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) compliant. We do not store any cardholder data. 

5. Back Orders

 5.1 If any item is out of stock, we will contact you to advise expected delivery times. If the length of time is unacceptable, the order may be cancelled or amended at your discretion.

 6.2 All products carry a 14 day no quibble money back guarantee (less postage and packaging). The item cannot have been modified in any way and must be returned in its original packaging complete with all tags attached. 

6.3 Any damages must be reported within 48 hours from time of delivery. McCloys will not be liable for any costs incurred due to faulty/damaged goods or shortages such as courier fees.

6.4 Any items to be returned due to unsuitability must be returned at the expense of the customer by registered means.

6.5 Any returns from outside Europe will be liable to all relevant charges incurred including postage, Customs and Import Taxes.

7. Tax

7.1 VAT of 20.0% is included on all prices shown on this website in line with current UK legislation.

9. Privacy Policy

9.1  We will not trade, resell, sell, or redistribute information that you provide to us, to any other companies, organisations or individuals. 

9.2 You may use, download and print content on the Website solely for your own personal use or internal business purposes. Other than for your own personal use or internal business purposes, you may not without our prior written consent: copy, reproduce, use or otherwise deal with any content on the Website; modify, distribute or re-post any content on the Website for any purpose;

reproduce, crawl, frame, link to or deep-link into this Website on or from any other website; use the content of the Website for any commercial exploitation whatsoever.

10. Email Marketing

10.1 Our email newsletter contains marketing and promotional information.  You can choose to sign up to this either when registering to place an order or by joining our mailing list.  At any stage you have the right to ask us to stop using your personal data for direct marketing purposes. You can opt-out at any time via Your Account.

11. Product and service descriptions

11.1 We have taken reasonable precautions to try to ensure that prices on the Website are correct and that all products have been fairly described. However, when ordering products or services through the Website, please note that Orders will only be accepted if there are no errors in the description of the products or their prices as advertised on this Website.

11.2 Packaging may vary from that shown on the website.

11.3 Whilst we try to display the colours of our products accurately on the Website, the actual colours you see will depend on your monitor and we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the product on delivery. 

12. Gift Vouchers

 12.1 Gift vouchers will be posted with no delivery charge and can be used to purchase Products online, over the telephone or in our store, 10 Creagh Road, Toomebridge, Co Antrim, Northern Ireland, BT41 3SE.

12.2 Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issue.

12.3 Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.

12.4 Gift vouchers cannot be returned or refunded except in accordance with your legal rights. 

13. Acceptance of your order

13.1 Please note that completion of the online checkout process does not constitute our acceptance of your order. Our acceptance of your order will take place only when we dispatch the product(s) or commencement of the services that you ordered from us. If you supplied us with your email address when entering your payment details (or if you have a registered account with us), we will notify you by email as soon as possible to confirm that we have received your order. 

13.2 All products that you order through the Website will remain the property of McCloys until we have received payment in full from you for those products.

14. Purchasing Firearms Online

14.1 Mccloys can only sell/trade a firearm, shotguns or airguns within our store in 10 Creagh Road, Toomebridge, Co Antrim, Northern Ireland, BT41 3SE or ship it to a 3rd party registered firearms dealer within the UK for collection.

14.2 On collection you will provide valid identification (none FAC airguns) and a firearms/shotgun Certificate (for any other gun).

14.3 You must be at least 18 years old to purchase firearms.

15. Your right to cancel

15.1 If you are a UK/EU consumer, you have the legal right, under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 to cancel your order within seven working days following your receipt of the goods or the date on which we begin provision of the services. Refunds for orders cancelled under the provisions of the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations will be processed in accordance with your legal rights. For further information about your statutory rights, contact your local authority Trading Standards department or consumer advice centre (for example the Citizen’s Advice Bureau if you are in the UK). 15.2 If you wish to cancel (or are considering cancelling) a product or service you have ordered from us, please be aware of the following terms that apply:

15.3 Applicability of cancellation rights: Legal rights of cancellation under the Distance Selling Regulations available for UK or EU consumers do not apply to certain products and services (for example, made to measure orders, and personalised items);

15.4 Damaged or incorrectly supplied products: You should check all products you receive against your order. If the products you receive are damaged or incorrectly supplied on delivery then you must note the details of any damage or error in supply on the delivery documentation and inform us. (phone or e-mail only) immediately. You must return the products to us as soon as possible after informing us that the products are damaged or have been incorrectly supplied. Please note that we will not accept the return of any damaged or incorrectly supplied products where you fail to notify us of this within 2 days working days of receiving them.

15.5 This is not intended to be a full statement of all your rights under the Distance Selling Regulations. Full details of your rights under the Distance Selling Regulations are available in the UK from your local Citizens’ Advice Bureau or your Local Authority’s Trading Standards Office.

15.6 Damage during the course of returning products: If you choose to return any products to us, we will not be responsible for any loss or damage to them in transit and, for this reason, we recommend that you use a recorded delivery service. If returned products are lost or damaged in transit, we reserve the right to charge you (or not to refund any amounts attributable to) such loss or damage. 

15.7 Collection: For certain, larger products, we may offer to arrange collection on your behalf and, where this is the case, you will be responsible to pay the costs of such collection (which we will notify to you in advance). If you cancel your order in any of the circumstances set out above save for cancellation under the provisions of the Direct Selling Regulations, we will refund any money paid by you after any products, which have been delivered to you, are returned to us. In the case of damaged or incorrectly supplied goods, we may offer you a replacement product.  Any refunds given by us will be made to the debit/credit card account provided when you placed your order and will be subject to our right to withhold amounts for products which are damaged on return or for which we arrange collection, as outlined above.

15.8 Where we deliver products to a third party in accordance with your order, you will only be able to exercise this cancellation right if you can return the goods to us (or arrange for us to collect them).
